Here’s the official release on Corey Chamblin’s coaching staff in 2014. Missing from the group is a running backs coach. Considering the short list of RBs on the Riders roster, maybe they won’t need one. Ha, ha.
In other news, FA Import punter Ricky Schmitt signed with the B.C. Lions, so that trade for Josh Bartel is looking pretty good now.
We’re to meet with Chamblin and the co-ordinators this afternoon, so I’ll have more details later. Yep and this means I have returned to the daily grind after a successful hip replacement. It is hip to be me!

BRAD MILLER JOINS RIDERS COACHING STAFF
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce that Brad Miller has joined the staff as linebackers coach for the 2014 CFL season.
Miller joins the Riders after spending last season with the Edmonton Eskimos as defensive backs coach. The California native brings 13 years of CFL coaching experience with him having previous stops in Edmonton, Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal and Birmingham.
He also spent five seasons (2001-2005) with NFL’s Green Bay Packers where he was a defensive and special teams assistant.
